This is an enormously entertaining take on The Lord of the Rings from the perspective of a Dungeons & Dragons tabletop roleplaying game. Just about anyone who enjoys D&D will love this. You'll see your fellow players in the characters of the Fellowship, and if you've ever been a DM, you'll feel the narrator's pain quite personally. The bottom line - this is quite well done. The humor may fall short if you're not familiar with tabletop RPGs, but if you are an experienced tabletop RPGer, you'll most likely laugh through the entire graphic novel.

Very amusing take on The Lord of the Rings, pitching it as a D&D campaign with a Dungeon Master obsessed with his elaborate backstory and a bunch of players who don't care about the history and just want to battle interesting monsters and find treasure.

An amusing sendup of the classic Lord of the Rings trilogy as a pen and paper roleplaying campaign run by a railroading Dungeon Master for a group of players that would like nothing more than to derail the plot and go their own way
